Friends of Oak Woodlands - Golden Gate Park
What began over 20 years ago as a grassroots effort to restore a neglected corner of Golden Gate Park has grown into a thriving volunteer-powered organization supported by SF Recreation & Park’s Natural Resource Division. Once overrun with invasive plants, Oak Woodlands is now a flourishing native habitat thanks to decades of dedicated stewardship.
